The very utilities the corporation commission regulates have an inordinate influence on the elections that choose the makeup of the commission. This situation harms Arizona ratepayers, harms our environment, and must not be allowed to continue.
If elected, Bill will fight to bring real and lasting ethics reform to the commission by demanding complete transparency and the practice of utilities their regulators.
Bill believes the Corporation Commission should serve the people, not corporate interests. He has been fighting for transparency at the commission, which cost him dearly when APS and other utilities spent millions to defeat him.
If elected to the commission in 2020, Bill will fight for ratepayers and put an end to the price-fixing and backroom deals that cost ratepayers millions.
Bill believes investing in solar and renewable energy is the right approach for the economy as well as the environment.
He will fight to bring back the rooftop solar incentives that
APS-backed commissioners repealed, and will fight to
make our state carbon
neutral by 2050.
